The annual Maroon and Black soccer games will be held on Saturday, February 12th beginning at 9:30 am and ending at 1:30 pm. A parent meeting will be held at the conclusion of the games per schedule below. All parents are asked to attend.
The M&B schedule is as follows:
9:30 am -- Boys B-Team Game
10:30 am Game-- Girls JV (Start serving lunch to BB/GJV @ 11:45 am)
11:30 am Game-- Boys JV (Start serving lunch to BJV @ 12:45 pm)
12:30 pm Game-- Girls Varsity (Girls Parents Meeting @ 1:45 pm)
1:30 pm Game-- Boys Varsity (Boys Parents Meeting @ 2:45 pm)
As tradition dictates, winners will be given steak; losers will be given hot dogs. Players will be given a color-coded ticket by their coach immediately following their game which will indicate if they are to receive steak or a hot dog for lunch. The steak and hot dog lunches for players are free.
Parents, siblings and supporters are welcome to participate in purchasing a grilled chicken plate at a cost of $5.00 each. Please indicate below how many chicken plates you would like to purchase and return the bottom portion of this form to your soccer coach on or before WEDNESDAY, February 9th or add to the Maroon and Black Wiki listed below. The money for the chicken dinners will be collected at the gate on February 12th. You will be given a color-coded ticket, which must be presented at the line to obtain your grilled chicken plate. Each player or parent is responsible for bringing their item to the cafeteria no later than 11:00 am on Saturday, February 12th. There will be labels for any dishes you bring so we will know what team they are for.
In addition, we need all players to bring one of the following:
Powerade Only (NOT Gatorade) – 20oz bottles (6 or 8 pack)
Or Only Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Mello Yellow, Barq Root Beer, Orange Fanta or Vault – 12-pack 12oz. cans
Or Only Dasani Water –.5 liter (24 pack)
Please drop drinks by the canteen for sorting and icing.
