Cayce Black Wins Indoor Title

For the third consecutive Winter Season the "Cayce Black" comprised of members of the Bearcat Soccer program claimed The Plex Indoor Sports HS Varsity Gold boys division. Wofford's Calcina Named to SoCon Academic All-Conference Team

Congratulations to B-C alum Meredith Calcina for being named to the Southern Conference Academic All-Conference Team for 2008. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average entering the fall season and must have competed in at least one-half of their team’s competitions during the recently concluded fall campaign.

Conditioning Canceled January 20th

Due to the cancellation of Lexington District Two Schools all extracurricular activities are also canceled for Tuesday, January 20th. Bearcat Soccer Preseason Conditioning will resume on Wednesday (school pending) at 4:15 p.m. at BCHS "The Cage".

Laney Named to 93 ODP Subregional Team

Congratulations to Lady Bearcat Soccer player Sarah Laney who was selected to participate with the S.C. 1993 Olympic Development Team under the direction of Newberry head coach Karrie Miller. Sarah will attend the Sub-Regional Tournament in Gainesville, GA January 9-11, 2009.
