North-South Soccer Classic Recap

Congratulations to the following Bearcat soccer players that participated in the 2008 North-South Soccer Classic at USC Upstate June 13-14:

South Girls - Randall Dominguez, Amanda Steffen & Lauren Hudgens (Co-Coach)
South Boys - Robby Setzler & Brodie Wall

All four players played well in their match. Randall scored the lone goal for the South team, just five minutes into the match as the South girls tied 1-1 with the North. In the boys match, the North side had two extra players and the fatigue factor seemed to take its' toll on the South team as the North staked a 3-1 victory.

Also, thanks to the Bearcat coaching staff members that assisted during the weekend in staging the NSSC: Kevin Heise, Kyle Heise, Marcus Hunter, David Schroer, and Katie Smith.

Thanks to Bearcat Soccer supporter Steve Cohen and Home Concepts Too for their sponsorship of the hot dog supper at the Rhythm on the River series this past Saturday. B-C's very own Lady Bearcat Cayla Fralick sang and was absolutely fantastic by all accounts. Thanks again for your support!
