B-C Alumni Game Update

Thanks to Will Eudy ('95), Troy Lesesne ('01), and Alex Koutrakos ('94) who have been working on making the Alumni Weekend, February 15-16 a true event for 2008! Tentative plans are to hold a "Team Dinner" at Grecian Gardens in West Columbia on Friday night and have some of the Alumni speak on the importance of being a Bearcat Soccer Alumni. On Saturday evening, following the 1:00 pm match there will be an Alumni outing at Bogart's in Triangle City for an informal social. Thanks to these three Bearcats and their support of our program! This is what makes Bearcat Soccer special! BEARCAT PRIDE!!!!!

CofC's Patton Scores/Assists in Citadel Win

Congratulations to Christian Patton and the College of Charleston women's soccer team on their 4-1 victory against The Citadel on Sunday, October 14. For more information, click here.

Ten minutes later, the Cougars would capitalize on another Bulldog mistake when Christian Patton won the ball from a Citadel defender and made a quick shot to the corner of the net and made the score 2-0.

Patton would later assist on the third Charleston goal when she crossed the ball from the right side to connect with Morgan Benz who headed it in for the score (43:10).

FMU's Setzler Contributes in Start

Good report for 2006 graduate Emily Logan Setzler who started for Francis Marion in the Lady Patriots 1-0 victory against Longwood on Sunday, October 14. For a complete report, click here. Congrats EmLo!

The Patriots nearly doubled their advantage in the 57th minute. Stenard played the ball through to Ashley Fortune in the box, and Fortune calmly back-passed the ball to a hard-charging Emily Setzler, who facing an open net, saw her shot glance off the right post.
