Bearcats Advance to CSC Final

Congratulations to the Brookland-Cayce varsity boys soccer team which placed second in the 12-team field at the Carolina Soccer Classic bowing to host Wando in the championship match Sunday, February 28.

The Bearcats defeated Class 4A #15 Fort Dorchester 2-1 in the opener on Friday, tied Class 2A #2 Waccamaw 0-0 and defeated Class 3A #15 Hilton Head Island 1-0 Saturday, before downing Class 4A #8 West Ashley 2-1 in overtime with just 10 men to reach the finals of the CSC for the first time since 2001 and just the second time in program history. Kudos to the Bearcats for their strong showing in the tourney!
